Rowdeford School Arts Centre

Background 

This original stable block designed by Wyatt was saved from demolition by the governors who raised the funds to convert it into a new Arts Centre.

Design

A new contemporary performance space has been slotted into the shell of the original building, with ancillary spaces in the two wagon sheds on either side.

Technical 

Daylight floods into the main space which is lined with cedar acoustic panels.  There is also stage lighting and complete blackout facilities for the diverse range of users.
